In February we don’t only celebrate Valentine’s Day – it’s American Heart Month®. This is a time to celebrate and protect the most important muscle in your body – your heart! National Wear Red Day® is a powerful reminder that millions of people are united for a common goal: the elimination of heart disease and stroke. Here at ProHealth West Wood Health & Fitness Center, we’re not just raising awareness, but members who wear red will be entered into a drawing for a prize.
This day for all of us isn’t just about wearing red; it’s about taking action for your health. Heart disease is a serious threat, but it’s also largely preventable. By making small changes to your diet, exercise routine, and overall lifestyle, you can significantly reduce your risk.
