West Wood Health & Fitness Center takes an approach to health and wellness that goes beyond only the physical aspect with the hope to enhance every aspect of your life. Our approach empowers the whole person – body, mind, spirit and emotions – to enhance wellness and strengthen the body’s natural ability to heal itself.

Physical Therapy

ProHealth Care’s physical medicine and rehabilitation services are available at West Wood. The physical therapists and athletic trainers have access to the entire fitness center, including the comprehensive fitness floor, large gym, aerobic studios, full lap swimming pool and warm water therapy pool.

The following services are available by physician referral:

• Full-service physical therapy for treatment of orthopedic injuries, neurological conditions, sports medicine, post-surgery rehabilitation and aquatic therapy in the warm water therapy pool.
• Trigger point dry needling reduces muscle tightness in the neuromusculoskeletal system.
• TMJ rehabilitation manages jaw pain and dysfunction.
• Vestibular therapy improves balance, dizziness and vertigo.
• Aquatic therapy uses the weightlessness of water to take the pressure off joints, reducing pain.
• Cancer rehabilitation is a variety of services to support patients throughout their cancer treatment and beyond.
• Pelvic floor rehabilitation addresses bladder, bowel and pelvic conditions.

Health Action Presentations
Our 45-60 minute Health Action presentations are shared by various health and fitness specialists, instructors, and personal trainers.  These educational opportunities include a worksheet for each participant in order to enhance engagement.

Presentation fees are $100/each and include the following topics:
