Don’t forget to prepare your fitness plan for the new year. Here are some simple tips that can help you set or refresh your fitness goals for 2022.
Don’t tackle more than one goal at once.
Conquer one goal at a time, whether it is to add more vegetables to your diet, get more sleep at night or hit the gym three times a week. Focus solely on one goal until you accomplish it, this will also give you the momentum to complete more fitness goals.
Personalize your goals.
Don’t compare your goals anyone else’s. Create a plan based on your fitness level and modify workouts to your ability. Consider personal training if you’re unsure of the proper way to workout.
Add variety to your workout with group exercise.
If you’re looking to change things up next year, try a new group exercise class. You’ll learn new ways to exercise and get safe and effective instruction from a fitness specialist.
Workout with friends.
Bring a friend to the gym or join a small group training class. The encouragement and motivation from friends can help you stay committed to your fitness plan.
